♥ HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY DYLAN!! ♥
It's hard to believe that this time last year I was in the hospital, scared out of my mind, getting ready to have my precious baby D! A routine doctors appt turned into turned into a big surprise when I was told I was going to be induced that day. My family and friends rushed to the hospital and took over the waiting room. I have pictures of my best friend Summer Fizdale doing everyone's nails in the waiting room, Kim Nix and Katy Nix braiding m...y hair, Wendy Jean giving me foot massages, my dad sleeping on the floor & Shannon Pederson-Shaw reading magazines after driving all the way out to Riverside to be with me til the wee hours of the morning- even though she was only a couple months away from having little Hannah Shaw! FINALLY after14 hours of labor Dylan Stanley Chaires was born on February 24th 2011 at 5:58 am.
Having Dylan was the best thing that I've ever done. I am definitely not the same person I was a year ago. For one I am a mommy! I still sometimes just stare at Dylan and think "wow, I am so lucky to be HIS mommy". He is the best, most amazing, most perfect human being I've ever met. I am thankful everyday for him and feel so blessed to have him in my life.
I have also learned so much this year. Like how I have the most amazing family and friends whom are always there for me no matter how crazy I get with no sleep...how I married the most helpful patient man that is such a great daddy to baby Dylan...and that you can actually survive on like 2 hours a sleep a night! (well sort of- haha!)
