our first tent camping trip with the boys and family in del mar.

Im so far behind in my blog that it has been so overwhelming to even know where to start again. Im upset that I stopped in the first place. instagram has taken the place of documenting our life with the boys and all the fun childhood milestones the past three years and honestly its been so much easier and faster than blogging. all my photos are on your phone and within a couple minutes I can post a whole weekend of activities the boys participated in. My problem lately although has been that i love photography and want to post and freely talk about everything that i was feeling in that moment, how the boys reacted or just funny phrases etc.  i love looking back on all these fun memories we make together and knowing i have thee worst memory ever, I fear forgetting what i know is the best season of my life thus far. so i decided i start today as i sit in bed cuddled with my addie boy who we found out yesterday has a double ear infection:( the boys watching angry birds and loving every minute of this downtime with them. The past couple of week, no this entire summer, has been a whirlwind of events, vacations, birthdays, etc. I wouldn't change a thing, we've had an absolute blast together and have made so many fun memories together that i will cherish. But there is just something about downtime, cutting with the boys, being lazy in bed and just for once having no plans or obligations that i love. unfortunately it takes one of being sick to actually force us to pause for a second and I'm so into planning activities for us all the time because aaron, when at home, feels like he should be working. getting everyone out is when he feels his break since he works from home. Anyways we just got back from two vacations, two different locations in one week. crazy tired when we got home but it was a lot of fun. the first was a trip to vegas with aarons family for his moms birthday. His mom spared no expense to make sure everyone had a good time. We spent a day at the pool in a cabana, was treated to every meal imaginable and dylans first circa de solie show, which he loooooved. with a quick one day stop at home to get aydens two front teeth removed (a whole other story) we were off again to sd in del mar for a camping trip with my family. We tent camped with the boys and my family had a trailer next to us. so much fun experiencing this with the boys for the first time. we even think we now need a trailer in our lives for more beach camping adventures. theres just something about being disconnected from it all and relaxing with family being outdoors and our favorite place, the beach.
