christmas pictures at the beach with sarah.

boys played soccer in between takes. 

dylan ended up completely soaked chasing the ball in the water before pictures even really began haha. 

after the photos with we headed over to fashion island for dinner at cheesecake afterwards to catch up.  

loved my dress. so happy i found it at the last second. and this was the 6th year in a row sarah has taken our photos. 

this year we decided to do our photos in corona del mar at inspiration point and combine our session with the shaw family. our happy place this past year, even though we don't make it there as much as we would like, was the beach. we had such a fun time camping at the beach and are excited for more trips this next year hence why i wanted a beach session. some people love the mountains, or the woods but our heart has always been at the beach, and we don't discriminate- any beach will do lol. theres just something so relaxing about sitting on the sand listening to the waves with my acai bowl cuddled up with aaron, as the boys run around freely. I really didn't stress this year about any of the details and pretty much bought all the clothes the week before. for the boys I went to my favorite for them, the zara store in south coast plaza (because i ran out of time to order anything online haha) and just winged it putting together a outfit for this and another for thanksgiving as fast as possible because i had my little impatient shopping buddy addie boy with me lol for myself I just went with free people because they are usually my go to for photo shoots. I had originally ordered another dress but didn't like it so again quickly picked out another and they shipped it to me super fast free of charge. bonus. I seriously  hadn't even tried on my dress until the day of right as we were getting dressed to leave haha so needless to say it was really low key and i was just hoping it would all come together.
