halloween fun in 2nd grade.

Nothing like some fun bagels and sprinkled cream cheese to celebrate Halloween at school with the kiddos. Alaina and I thought these would be a little something fun we could bring for the kids (and teachers😉) the morning of Halloween. It’s always fun seeing the kids enjoy special moments at the school, yet the highlight of my morning was when a mom came up and told me how happy she was that our kids were in the same class again this year, explaining how her daughter had such a rough time last year but how all the silly little celebrations my friend and I put together for the kids made her daughter happy at school again. Her thankfulness meant so much. 💛

Bagels and Brew in Lake Forest is my new favorite find and go-to for holiday bagels. They are so fun..they switch them up every holiday with coordinating colors. The best part for me..it that they’re baked fresh and they make the best veggie sandwiches so when I pick them up I make sure it around lunch time so I can indulge in other menu items too. I mean they’re not the healthiest treat but it another fun option to something more sugary like donuts which is perfect for holidays like Halloween, since you know the kids sugar consumption will be at an all time high that day haha.
