all the little moments that made us smile this month.

had to have this shirt when I found it. the saying was on point and it was on sale so... haha. I found it on one of my favorite shops I follow on ig, @thelightblonde. I originally went on to purchase one for st pattys day and spotted this and another that says "kindness is magic" which I'm also seriously in love with and will have to post a picture of in the future. I love tanks, especially now that it is getting warmer and it is perfect to wear to pilates too.

and this is a perfect example of how spreading love to others also in return becomes a blessing to all involved. obviously Im not going to post every nice thing I do for others on here but I loved this as an example of how doing something so simple like asking a friend if you can bring them starbucks on your way home from drop off can totally make their day and yours too. a shout out on ig was not necessary or at all expected but she also made my day by being so thankful through text, in person and then when I spotted this on ig later that night it in return made me smile in the midst of a chaotic shower time with my boys haha.

lunch at miguels with my sister last week. loved having her visit but the time always seems to fly by when she's here. we surprised dylan at pick up with her arrival before heading to lunch. afterwards the kids ran around the lake and naturally we had to make a stop at pinkberry before heading home. love that she took the time to come visit us for the day and I really hope they decide to move back to ca one day.
the countdown for dylan's birthday began last week. everyday he asks meet remind him how many more days so he can write on the board.;)
a quick picture on our way out to a friends party super bowl sunday. aaron and I are not huge fans of football and had no idea who was even playing until maybe the day before so the boys sported these generic football tees while I supported team "love" in a valentines shirt.;)
dylan cracks me up- this was the same morning. they got these pjs in their valentines mailboxes the day before and dylan wanted his picture taken in them lol.
I have been enjoying and making more of an effort this month by starting my day with a little bit of reading and journaling. and since I am not a huge fan of coffee or how I feel after a cup, (filled with mainly creamer lol) I've been opting for hot water with lemon slices. I've read the health benefits of starting your day with it- how it helps flush your digestive system and rehydrate your body.
snapped this picture and send to alaina to show her that I was wearing the "soul sisters" bracelet she had given me. i love that we had this immediate connection and the friendship that has grown since when we met just a few years ago.
we surprised our grammy with dancing with the stars tickets last week. we took her to the fox theatre in downtown riverside to see the show. I probably enjoyed it more than she did. It had been a while since I have seen a theatre show, let alone a dance one. they are my favorite. dance, no matter what style, will always have a special place in my heart. I always get teary eyed watching dancers perform with such love and passion. I miss dance in my everyday life. It was such a big part of my life for so many years, whether it was in a dance class growing up or on dance and cheer squads throughout my school years.
a little card and flowers to go with the dessert the boys made that we got for our neighbors when they texted me that she had made dinner for us..again that night. we are blessed with the sweetest, most thoughtful neighbors. they randomly text me and ask if they can bring us dinner. this night was pea soup and rolls to go with it.

we've taken them donuts and flowers as thank you before but we wanted to bake something this time. the boys wanted to make a heart shaped cake then proceeded to top it with way too much frosting. well the neighbors said they enjoyed it...haha;)
ayden was so patient coloring and chatting with me when i took him to my eye appt last week. he's my little buddy.
for valentines dinner I had written little love messages to the boys on the window and the next morning dylan told me he wrote some back for aaron and I.
Liv's dad had texted me asking if I could bring Liv home one day so I thought since it was raining I would surprise them with some hot cocoa when I picked them up. they laughed and giggled telling me all about their day (and how hot their cocoa was) the whole way home. loved it.

naturally we needed some starbucks too. two hot cocoas and some drinks for alaina and I.;)
no rain and excitement to venture outside for a bit. ayden cracks us up how he doesn't trust dylans driving and will not get in the turtle car with him. of course later I saw dylan talking him into siting on the back of it while he takes off, which he was all for (insert rolling eyes emoji) haha.
I usually just order a venti water but when I feel like completely indulging this is what I order. I really feel like the nonfat and the huge amount of whipped cream they give you just cxl each other out haha ! aaaand looking at this reminds me that I really need to paint my nails lol.
celebrating nathan's birthday at the manuel house. the mooring was a rush so much so that we even forgot his birthday present, loved getting to spend time laughing and chatting with our friends while the kids ran around when everyone else had left. I must have eaten five plates of nachos. I'm obsessed.
dylan's lunch one day.
our other neighbor is going through a rough time health wise. we had bought them a couple days prior and since he is not eating sugar we decided to make him a salad but we had a hard time catching him when he was home so we ended up just leaving these on his doorstep.
dylan requested lunch at chick filet one day so I offered to grab for his teachers and aydens as well which ended up being a large order. I totally messed it up. in the midst of ordering for everyone I got dylans' order wrong, the whole reason I went in the first place. he ended up eating his fruit cup and apple sauce at school and I got him the rest of his lunch after school.

I love seeing this cute little happy face everyday at pick up.
don't you just love when you find outfits that are totally perfectly themed for an upcoming event.;)
when you receive something in the mail and its even cuter and bigger in person than you imagined. I found this heart shaped cooler on one of my favorite stores websites and then of course sent to my friend jessica as well.;) this site has so many fun things but around valentines its pink and red hearts galore. I was pretty excited when aaron ended up getting me the matching heart shaped towel (that I couldn't justify springing for myself) for valentines day.
my sweet friend jessica drove out here to drop off a valentines gift for me last week. I loved every bit of it and she even got some stuff for the boys. I didn't get a picture of that because they ran off so quick to eat the goodies inside. I'm still dying that she got me this cute wall decor with my previous blog title when just the night before I was texting her telling her I was changing it haha.

when you clean out your car and finally bring everything inside.
