The boys are back to school. Dylan is 1st grade and Ayden in TK. No tears this year for Ayden, which makes me the only one sad and teary eyed about them going back. I'm excited for this year though, it won't be as welcoming/open door, field trip and class activities galore as kinder was but volunteering and being room mom means I can still be involved and help out a bit throughout the year. I love our school and it's fun, I love celebrating and getting to do it all with my friend while meeting more people in the process is icing on the top.
Both the boys have new teachers to the school (or the grade) and so far the boys are loving them. Dylan is a bit more reserved with his usual goofy/silliness this year (which is probably a good thing since he doesn't have beauchmap anymore haha) while Ayden is so much more independent and is really loving his teacher being so organized and structured.
Below is our meet the teacher days and first days of school, some of the fun details of their first week and celebrating dylans 6 and a half birthday. The boys were so cute and we are really proud of them.
