On his birthday we did our usual birthday donut morning party, just us and then my family ended up coming over to surprise dylan with an enormous ninja turtle they have been waiting to surprise him with for months. I got the local donut store to spell out "happy birthday" which I thought would be fun. Ayden who is learning all his letters was obsessed with all the letter A's and claimed them all, along with 10 other donuts he managed to take atleast one bite out of each. we finally packed up the car around noon after a little birthday boy tantrum that escalated after he threw his ipad on the floor and broke the screen. we stayed at one of the disneyland hotels to try something different but it was pretty crowded. we were totally wishing that we had stuck with our favorite the grand californian. we met our friends inside the park and then headed to downtown disney to meet everyone for dinner. It was a fun night with everyone and despite the crazy crowds, we got to show dylan the main street electrical parade.
The next morning we had our magic morning but had no desire to go back inside the madness that was disneyland that weekend. instead we packed up and headed to a waffle breakfast per dylans request. we ran into this place called bruxies and had the best waffles and chicken. super good. then on a whim we decided to take dylan indoor skydiving. We had been talking about looking into it for a while now and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to check it out. so fun! no seriously so cool! and dylan was a natural. he totally held his form the entire time and made it look so easy. I ended up showing his teacher the next week and she asked me to email her the video and picture so she could show the class haha. he loved that and we now have a trip planned this summer to go again with his friend nathan so we are excited.
