randomness love.

I think I've decided that my favorite posts to look back on are the ones that are just completely random moments from our daily routine. the events are fun too but there is just something I think that goes hand in hand with my recent desire lately to slow down a bit that is making me recognize, want to hold on to and appreciate all these random and simple moments even more now. and here is just that from last week...
I always get excited when the barn opens its doors. maybe its the atmosphere. the groups of moms in the same season of life (and a lot of time have children in the same classroom haha) chasing around their little ones attempting to shop at the same time. Its literally right down the street from he school and always opens after drop off. the prices are crazy reasonable and one day it is my dream to have the owner, tara, decorate my home. overall I think its the added excitement it brings to whatever season is up and coming and this year didn't disappoint. I never find myself going crazy (mainly because ayden has a short window of tolerance for my shopping haha) but I am able to grab a few things to add to our home like a cute new menu chalkboard.
The robot book arrived and we made our trip to pick it up. ayden is in love. And the excitement that comes when the spirit wear you were in charge of ordering for the team finally comes in. sure my sweatshirt has our last name and dylans number wayyyyy too far down on the back of the shirt but again I find myself just thankful the mistake is on my own order and not someone elses haha.

When one of your favorite authors comes out with a new book this year that you cannot wait to cuddle up and read (eventually). 

Our annual trip to the drs to have our blood taken together one morning after dropping the boys off at school. my favorite part was our little breakfast date afterwards.;) 

Obsessed does not even fully describe my affliction for this new brand, 100% pure, my friend jessica told me about. this was my first order that arrived and I am in love with the blush and lipstick I purchased. the fact that it is all clean products that I can feel good about wearing is really the icing on top.
Dugout duties sometimes consist of my taking selfies and pictures of cute jewelry I found at the barn too haha. naturally my friend alaina needed a matching set of bracelets too. and always love having aaron out on the field with dylan during the games.

a tiny mishap during the color run when dylan decided to go a little crazy and started throwing color everywhere... including his teachers eyes (insert 100x rolling eyes emojis). the chalkboard hanging in our kitchen has had this quote from aydens class written on it since probably september of last year but it prompted me to have dylan write a sorry note to his teacher and gather $2 of his own money (which I added to his piggy bank in his room beforehand) to purchase her favorite starbucks drink the next morning.  and yet again of course ms alaina needed one too.

a walk with ayden one morning. love the surprise I had while scrolling on my camera roll. I had no idea what this picture would look like as I quickly snapped with my phone because it was so bright outside.
And on this same walk, we made our way to the mailbox to find the rainbow keychain I had won bidding on, on ig the prior week. It was even cuter in person.
Painting one day with ayden and woke up to this flower that looked so big and pretty in the dainty vase I had put it in.

trip to jamba and haircuts for the boys just go hand in hand. along with a treat next door at sees candy too. 

And the surprise happy mail that we came home to one day from my mama. my favorite sees candy, scotch mallows! yep an entire box. yum thanks mama!

Aaron doing homework with dylan. he is sooooo much more patient with him than I am. so thankful he takes this time with him for sanity reason too haha.
My replacement to clorox wipes. I finally found a truly clean brand that I am also confident is killing the germs too. It always makes me feel so much better to have products like this in the house.
All homework done on a monday?! hallelujah! thanks aaron. and this house is all about art sessions with dad. aydens power ranger art collection keeps growing.

dylan passed another sight word test which means another trip to gamestop. perhaps our rewards should have been better thought out since they are going from lists A all the way through Z. haha.
