more randomness.

complete randomness of the last month of our summer that I've just had sitting in my queue waiting to publish. Thankful for all these random little moments. I enjoyed skipping the whole summer bucket list, no expectations, no lists of must do's- we really just went with the flow and honestly we ended up being pretty active but also had a nice balance of just hanging around the house and enjoying that down time. The only thing I planned on doing this summer was visit a few museums with the boys. That was fun and I'm really glad we decided to. Our favorite thing to do with the boys is explore and learn new things. The magic and excitement of seeing it all through their eyes is the best. And I love how you visit a place when you are young but then go back as an adult and its a totally different experience. We take so many things for granted as a child, like yeah that huge fish lives in the ocean but as an adult and you see it- its crazy! We did the natural history (aarons' pick), the new children museum in sd (my favorite), the long beach aquarium, the ocean discovery exhibit and we have plans to visit the ice cream museum next month haha. Ok so that one is not so much of learning, exploration museum but it looked cute and we never say no to ice cream... or a chance to jump in a sprinkle pool.😉

I had gotten jack johnson tickets for aarons birthday at the hollywood bowl. I love this venue because its outside but la is not my favorite. Aaron had the idea to take a lyft from the mall to the bowl because the parking is a nightmare and I was crying after going through the crowd of people vowing to never go back to la again haha. I don't do well in crowds and walking over people sleeping (?) in the street is not my idea of a good time lol. anyways once we got to the venue all was well and we had a fun night. We kept saying it was our kind of show because he went on before 8pm, it was over by 10pm and the crowd was mellow. We even decided to stop for breakfast on the way home because it was such an early night. My mom stayed with the boys and they had their own pizza party with lots of snacks she brought them.
Finally remembering to bring dylans award to wood ranch that he received last year. Our neighbors bringing over chicken enchiladas on a random night for us to give me a night off dinner. Mommy and me paint day, a fun paint night double date and dinner date at anchos with the Manuals, South Coast plaza lunch date with the family.

Bike rides and football in the front yard with the boys when it gets cool in the evenings. Bringing our Panera breakfast to the pool in the mornings, stitch fix happy mail love, pizza/broasted chicken and arcade games (deal or no deal winners) with the boys and Hannah's birthday pool party.

Ayden picking out his birthday theme at party city (power rangers of course), surprise drop offs to friends, blueberry picking with our grammy, dancing with the stars at the fox theatre, summer haircuts.

Dylan picking out the perfect gift for aydens birthday, decorating shirts for the dads for fathers day, aydens scavenger hunt birthday party, paddle boarding at night for the first time. 

Summer movies, surprising the boys with pancakes in the letters "A" and "D",  lots of outside water play and games, pool day with our friends and Aydens birthday morning celebration. 

Aydens robot coloring obsession, sprinkle pancakes, car wash and cheetos and early morning cinnamon roll art.
